This is interesting. I have only been following VHSL girls lacrosse for a few years now. How would you rank VHSL programs all-time? Maybe top 10.

1 BF
2 BF
3 BF
4 BF
5 BF
6 BF
7 Langley
8 Woodson / Robinson
9 YT
10 Madison

Why would going to PVI help them get into college? Didn’t a Battlefield girl go to ASU last season? Didn’t Battlefield beat PVI this season? Why not stay at Battlefield and help them get to the next level with the girls you grew up with? I am sure all of the Battlefield girls play high level club and hold their own. As has been discussed ad nauseam on this forum, if you can play, you can play. And these girls can play. Playing in a competitive high school program is not a negative.

ASU is not a flex. BF played PVI to an OT game last spring so they are essentially the same quality. PVI lost to GC in the WCAC finals 13-3 and got slaughtered by SSSAS 18-4 in the state semi-finals. So is BF great??? Not really. They are "Public school good"

....and us parents and/or trolls can only dream of the heights of play and competition these girls will reach, and wished we were able to. Celebrate them!!!

The point OP was trying to make (I think) was that playing in the private league will make you a better player as the competition is way better. I would agree with this.
