White House redacted info in the farm trade report because it didn’t match Trump’s narrative. Does Trump think the ag sector won’t notice??
The numbers run counter to President Donald Trump’s messaging that his economic policies, including tariffs, will reduce U.S. trade imbalances. The politically inconvenient data prompted administration officials to block publication of the written analysis normally attached to the report because they disliked what it said about the deficit.
The published report, released Monday but dated May 29, includes numbers that are unchanged from how they would’ve read in the unredacted report, said the people, who were granted anonymity to discuss internal decision-making.

Isn’t this obvious? Our economy will collapse for certain. Because of tariffs, we are done-for.

More delusion from Trump. He doubled steel tariffs today. Downstream companies are going to go out of business, jobs will be lost and prices will go up. Yet Congress sits idly by.
The higher tariffs likely will provide a boost for domestic companies that produce steel and aluminum. But for every steelworker in America, there are about 80 people working for companies that use steel. And their costs are about to go up.

The TACO thing has spread very quickly. I kept hearing students saying taco over and over today and asked one what it meant. Teens are using it to mean "I don't think you'll do that dare" or "no way he/she will do that". For example, Student 1: "Brenden is going to pratfall at graduation." Student 2: "Taco".
I'm not sure it has replaced cap/no cap, but they seem to be using it in place of cap.
Between learning what TACO means in reference to Trump and learning that the Chipotle where one of my students works now uses "Trump" in place of 86 when talking about toppings/food items that are out of stock... sigh... sometimes Gens Z and Alpha give me hope.
