Hey 2030 parents. If your daughter would like to make Capital Blue a year from now she could do three things that would help her chances: 1) be a good player; 2) get on a good MS team; and 3) attend Capital clinics and Healthy Baller sessions to get on Capital’s radar. Next year you will hear talk of politics, connections, and other such nonsense, but this is the formula. The clinics start up in the fall and fill up quickly so follow that Capital Instagram account and be ready to pounce.

There are still teams looking for certain types of players/positions. It's worth it to reach out to coaches if there is a spot available.

From what I have heard, there are quite a few talented 2030 players available and looking.

Not having a Team at this point in the Summer is probably quite stressful, I hope they all can find a great team!

YJ O’Sullivan? YJ DMV? YJ North Tiso? YJ VA?

I didn’t notice players shifting rosters between these clubs midseason.

Depends on performance. If it’s really bad they get exiled to YJ Alabama.

Actual LOL

Seriously funny comment. We need more of this on the board.

I think that is a false rumor.

They 100% do this and it is not a good morale. I would not want my daughter on a team like that.

I'm not sure what it means. Is your daughter already on the team and has low morale because she was moved down? Seriously impressive that YJMA uses a depth chart. Their coaches are all former college players so maybe that's why they do it. That is super high level.
The OP was referencing #1 in the country YJ, not YJMA. Though they may do it also, not sure.

Only bad morale for the weaker players. I'm sure the top of the roster want the most competitive team they can form when you go against top level talent each tournament.

MLB must have terrible morale

I think you meant minor league baseball. But this could also apply to club soccer throughout the world from youth through professional. Nothing wrong with performance based incentives.
MLB moves players down to the minors and up to the majors throughout a season. Just like they do for different levels of the minors.
They also waive them outright and trade them.
