Ken seems to think so.

Maybe they want people to take DRP 2.0 because they might have to RIF more people otherwise. It’s pretty clear from the email that our jobs aren’t safe.

From Reddit posts, looks like it will only apply to VHA.

Who wants to bet all remote BVA employees are put in a “competitive area” separate from NCR employees and RIF’d rather than find office space/pay relocation.

That won’t happen until BVA terminates the CBA.

I’ve heard they aren’t processing grievances related to mid-years already…

So this is taking place already? No more grievances under the CBA?

The CBA is still in effect and grievances can still be filed. However, management is stalling because they expect the CBA to be dissolved in the upcoming weeks. Management is getting rid of PIPs too.

I feel bad for the union folks. Most of them haven’t drafted a decision in years. Fortunately, many of them are eligible for retirement.

That would mean getting rid of all Board attorneys and VLJs except for SSCs. Do you think the SSCs can do all the work? I know they’ve been eliminating some departments in places like GSA but I do not think they will do that to us simply because they do have to address the backlog.

Quite a stretch to call VA “national security.” We’ll see what happens…
