Did someone say MLSN can start their own BY u-little ecosystem?
This is an organization that still haven't announced the names of its tiers , 1 month away from the start of season.
The person has been writing a fantasy novel about MLSN and NWSL destroying ECNL and all of the other leagues that went 8/1.
No, multiple people are pointing out that there are many different potential outcomes. You obviously have your ECNL hat screwed on tight and want a specific outcome to occur. Which is odd because why do you care what other leagues do?
I don't care what MLSN does, we have experience with both leagues. Why does calling out MLSN ineptitude bother you so much?

Why does the name of a tier matter? Clubs know there will be tiers and that they need to put together teams.
Honestly this sounds like something a parent whos kid didnt make a MLSN team would say.

Seems it is official that MLSN1 will be called MLS Next Homegrown and MLSN2 will be called MLS Next Academy. Thoughts on this? Logically, it just doesn't make sense in my brain, but maybe that is just me? It also doesn't quite convey which league is 'above' the other, which I find strange.

People watch premier league or other non US leagues. No parents at our MLSN club ever talk about MLS teams. They think MLSN is a scam as well, and this is tier 1 parents. Can’t imagine what tier 2 parents think.
When Messi retires, MLS will just import another world legend who is just about to retire -- that's exactly what they've done for decades.
You mean kinda like Ibrahimovic (right before Messi)
Fun fact, Pele and Cruyff both played for US pro teams.
Yes, there is a very clear historical pattern that it takes seeing an international player past their prime to make a soccer match in the US relevant.
Ugh Cruyff played 4 years more in Dutch leagues after playing in the US, and won the league title 2x more with 2 different teams. The examples were given to fix your preconception.
