They were going to do it soon anyway because the Senate is revolting and the FAA is falling apart, but today is certainly an opportune moment.

The senate passed a clean bill which Ryan won't take up because the con man refused to sign after Coulter,Hannity and Limbaugh told him not to accept it. Then the conman got a scare that his below 40% approval will fall below 20% if his cult withdraws.

The con man made the shutdown for a wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for. So either MX can pay for it or YOU and your billionaire con man can pay for it. How about that for a deal?

They are when the FAA says they are related to an increase in sick calls at Jacksonville and DC ATC.

Also, 14,000 IRS employees did not show up for work today. Tax filing season starts Monday.

We the people should shut down the airports and force a crisis that has to be dealt with.

BTW, why did Trump put his foot down during his NAFTA negotiation and required Mexico to pay. Or why did he not put his foot down when his Handout to Rich taxscam was passed? The ground stop at LaGuardia (lifted now) was due to staffing shortages, not weather.

That doesn't happen all the time.

Don't deny reality. It's not a good look.

Reality is I'm a pilot and sit in those holds a lot. At least I get paid for it though....

How many hold have you sat in that were due to inadequate ATC staffing? As opposed to things like weather?
