During the campaign I kept telling you that misogyny was going to tank Kamala's chances, perhaps just as much as being a holdover of the previous administration, seen as responsible for post-Covid inflation (it wasn't Biden's fault, it was Covid and the stimulus that Trump implemented - and not Trump's fault either, any President would have done the same).
And I think I was right. Lots of immigrant communities of color voted for Trump, simply because they cannot fathom voting for a woman President.
Also repeating myself on this: the GOP could rule forever if it stopped being racist and xenophobic. 99% of the world is more socially conservative than most white Americans.

I wonder how she felt about her mom walking down a public way stalking and harassing a survivor of a school shooting.
Who am I kidding, not that I actually know anything, but if I'm guesstimating, there is a 99% chance that this daughter has been given her own gun for a milestone birthday and social media pictures exist of herself proudly brandishing it with some USA USA !!! messaging.
I could also just still be thinking of Boebert's Christmas card where all the kids in their Christmas sweaters held up their festive holiday automatic weapons.

They are seriously dumb. I guess they didn't hear Trump talk about how we were importing people from sh(thole countries back in his first term. Oh, that's right.. he didn't mean them.

Stupid gonna stupid.
Even after losing his business to Trump's policies, he stands by his vote: "Given the two people running, regardless of what they said on the campaign trail, I would've voted for President Trump again."
His brother Stephen agrees: "I don't think I had a choice to vote any other direction."
I feel sorry for people who didn't vote for Trump and are suffering; I'm glad that regretful Trump voters have seen the light. These guys - they deserve what they get.

She clearly wasn't listening when many of us said that once you disagree with Trump and get on his bad side, he will sic the rabid MAGA base on you.

LESMEISTER: Well, initially, I thought it was great. He was going to make farmers and ranchers first, America first and agriculture. Then, lately here, it seems like he's kind of jerked a rug right out from underneath us with the tariff talks coming off and Argentina beef quadrupling coming in and possibly other countries bringing in meat, also, right in the heart of the cattle run, when all these producers are selling their calves for the fall. And they only get one paycheck a year, and this is it, so it really hurt a lot of producers.

A lot of white Republican voters are on SNAP and Medicare and Medicaid. They are really finding out right now if they live in a red state.
