And think of the gravity of this ..Here is an organization that actively recruited kids, offered them spots on a team, only to, just months later, decide to kill the team because they want to move in a different direction and/or they don't have money. This is so fitting for DCU. This is how this group of parents starts their experience with DCU. We want your kid, sike, no we don't. Unbelievable, but really not surprising at all.

So bad and really shame on DCU for doing this to the kids and parents.

They think about themselves first and foremost and their money and then if you're lucky you get some communication about some decision they made that materially affects your son, that you're astonished by and you're left scrambling. Par for the course for an absolutely horribly run organization with poor leaders. I can't speak about the new director because I don't know him. Maybe he is better. But what I do know is that his bosses are clueless and give no craps about the academy or it's kids. The minimal investments they have made are just to stay credible in a very competitive talent market. Again, DCU is an absolute joke. If it's your only option, it is what it is.

Right now, they are planning to drop the bus program. Budget is hurting because of full time program. That is what they are telling new parents coming in for next season.

We are new and were told the bus program will be running.

If you've had any dealings with DCU for an extended period of time what you know with certainty is that when it comes to communication, especially about bad news, they are the absolute worst. They don't have a strong understanding of the quality and frequency of communication that is needed

With DCU literally anything could happen. Finances have always been an issue with the academy.
