Of course. Michael Cohen, who did not have the money, took out a home equity loan to pay $150K to Stormy Daniels to keep her from telling her story to the tabloids. He did it because he felt so strongly that Daniel's story should not be told befor the leection that he risked losing his home to stop her from telling her story. He felt much more strongly about this than the many running for President who purportedly had over $500M in the bank.
