I have found murch kids to be really nice. I haven’t heard of bullying at murch. The parents are seem nice, busy people. Definitely not a social climbing environment. I haven’t noticed any cliques.
Murch is a good school, no doubt. But it isn’t quite in the JKLM (Janney-Key-Lafayette-Mann) tier.
My child went to a big 3 private for ES. Now at Deal, DC claims the nicest, most authentic kids are from Murch.

Not really important, but kind of annoying.

Excellent for Murch. Wouldn’t want to be in any group with some of the Janney and Lafayette kids.
The downside of being the best can be occasional arrogance.

Your tiers are off. Mann is not in the same tier with Stoddert and hasn't been for years. I have experience with both schools and Stoddert is way better than Mann.
Key comes after Mann. JKLM is second tier to Ross and Stoddert.
