You've been a Fed worker for 10 years and have kids in Elementary School and a mortgage, right ??
And now 51% of the country just elected a politician and empowered his platform that was based on outsourcing your job to AI or telling you that you are free to sign up for "re-training " and look for work in the private sector.
Welcome to the America your fellow citizens have been living in for the past 40 years

I want to commend you for the important work you are doing. Your efforts to address government waste and reduce massive national debt are crucial.
As a parent, I worry about my son’s future if your mission fails. I understand that you are facing a lot of criticism, but please know that many of us who hope for a bright future for our children support your efforts and recognize that change is necessary.
Stay strong and brave.
What future do you think our children have if the US loses its role as a superpower, which we are about to do?
I have zero effs to give about remaining a super power. We need to take care of our country and its citizens first and foremost.

Instead of demanding that everyone has work/life balance, an adequate income and health coverage, you want to destroy those who you perceive as having those things. And what do you think will happen to you once you accomplish those things? You're being replaced by AI as we speak.
You are slaves to billionaires who couldn't give two shits about you, and you are doing their bidding because you're getting crumbs. Pathetic.
Amazon just closed their Quebec operations because 2K workers had unionized. The 3 richest people in the country have been very publicly trying to buy off the president, because hundreds of billions in wealth just won’t cut it…and some of the peasants not only are okay with this, they actively are cheering it on.
Hey wont learn until stuff is on fire.
THEIR stuff.
Notice how we don’t hear about Luigi in the news anymore? It’s because his popularity scared some people.

Not only did they ignore the 70% of Americans who wanted our borders respected, they voted to forgive a trillion dollars of student loan debt, then continued to forgive debt even after the SCOTUS ruled it illegal. They thought they were going to win on abortion and ignored the rage about Gaza.
They first tried to shove an 82 year old down our throats and then anointed his replacement without giving the people a voice. They counted on voters like me who once again held our nose and voted for the lesser of two evils.
But this time millions didn't vote and others punished the Party for it failures.

I have worked as a contractor for multiple government agencies.
Every agency is filled with waste. Every agency.
And every federal worker will say they are working so hard, every federal worker.
Meanwhile they never work on weekends, or work late during the week. They will be there from 7 to 3:15 and do the absolute minimum of work. You could fire 50% of the workers and the agency will work BETTER!.
Be respectful and be kind, but most of america wants significant reductions in the waste in government.
for every action, think, is it fair for a single parent with a child, struggling to make ends meet, have their taxes go to this federal mission. stop the waste, help the middle class , that is being kind and respectful.

I've been married to a federal worker for 25 years and I wish that were true. He works almost every weekend at home, he's had to go into the office more weekend than I can count, he's worked on vacations, he loses some of his PTO every year because he can't take it all, he didn't get to take any paternity leave with our second kid... And he could be making 3-4x his government salary in the private sector, because he is capped like all federal workers--he didn't even get a raise for many years because the federal schedule didn't budge. So I do mean this most sincerely, f*ck you and everyone else who thinks like you and/or voted for Trump.
+100 . All of my family members who are federal workers work more than the required hours and aren't eligible for overtime pay because of their pay grade. They are professional, responsible and passionate about the work they do. This constant accusing ALL government workers of being lazy is getting old and trite. Surely there must be a more humane way to keep the talented people who are invested in their jobs and not insult them by calling them "low productivity."
I have been out of gov for awhile, but while working for a startup in early 2000's we hired a lawyer from SEC. she came with amazing recommendations. hard working , smart etc etc.
she joined and dived in, after a few weeks she realized that the software development was working hard hours.
she was asked to come into an all hands on Saturday morning and was aghast. how could the company ask someone to work the weekends. she went back to the SEC within a month. guess they liked her work ethic of 7 hours a day and no weekends.
gov lawyers are a special breed, smart but lazy, and glad to stay in the gov with the process and controls to protect their work life.
Oh, well...if you knew one person who didn't want to work weekends...gasp....the horror....did she want to actually spend time with her family...how insane....
that must mean all feds are lazy.
I'm beginning to think working in the private sector has driven all of you mad. Or maybe just so angry, you don't know reality anymore.
we didn't hire anymore gov lawyers and we did very well. the other lawyers fit in well with the demands of the job.

The one that has a wife and kind, living in one of the government buildings?
You think that he’s regretting it yet? lol.
What a selfish little twat to drag a child into this.
