But her 5 friends and another guy went with the two. It’s just the 5 friends left her and Josh after an hour or so. You type like someone who has never seen the seediness at the edges of resorts in DR.
Btw, rapes in US hotels are not uncommon either, even nice ones.
A bartender working at night said he would meet her at the beach. Resort staff, locals and tourists can all be predators.
Drugging of drinks is often mentioned if you look at reviews. Even of men, so they can be robbed, be removed as a protector, etc.
Drugging of drinks happens here too, by staff and by other patrons. Sex assault is common in US and on or near college campuses.
Might the bartender have deliberately gotten the 2 more impaired? Sure. Might he have even been the one who suggested the beach? Possible. Look at the video of how far the beach was from the resort. Perfect spot for predators and dark, which is the reason for the warnings to avoid it at night.

He could be lying or he could have passed out and not know what happened.

The discussion about green card came only because some poster said about why would not they become citizens of America and America is not good enough for the girl missing and her parents. I understand. But it’s not known to 99% of people except Indians who go through. I work with lot of other country people who used to ask why I did not get my green card . There are various you tube video and memes making fun of Indians getting their green card in death bed or they apply when they are young and prime and get it when they are old and inactive . It was not the case before 2000. I wish they restrict the H1B to 7% cap too so people won’t come in hope and wait . Another thing is sometimes your employer should be willing to apply for the 1st step in green card process immediately. Some might post pone it for years which might push you further back in line.
