It's mind boggling how some Republicans are still hitching their wagon to the Trump train wreck and are doubling down on it. Seriously, people, grow up and move on.
Who would have thought that a president whose policies prioritize the .001 percent of billionaires and centimillionaires over the rest of America would be unpopular.
When talking about the super rich, Franklin Delano Roosevelt - a scion himself - said "I welcome their hatred."
If Democrats could find someone like FDR that will stand up to Musk, Bezos, Thiel, Zuckerberg, and all the useless parasitical heirs - the Walton family, the Mellon family, the Meijer family, the Fancelli family, the Lauder family, the Ricketts family, the Adelson family, etc etc - they would win all the elections. But if Democrats continue with people like Nancy Pelosi, Hilary Clinton, Bob Menendez and all the other deeply corrupt grifters with their insider trades, they will continue to lose. And the Obama and Biden families are not helping with their gross cash grabs.
50 years ago, Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm to avoid any sense of impropriety while he was president. Now we have the Trump family making billions off crypto schemes. If Democrats could actually find an honest and decent politician, they'll win. But can they?
Trump's approval ratings are garbage. But nothing exists in isolation. If Democrats don't come up with someone better, they are still in trouble.
