Would there be less hate surrounding them in a house in a different area? There is nothing to do except wait out the media storm and then move.
They really don't have much of a choice. If they moved, they're being suspicious, and the hate will follow them. I could imagine people saying "They know he's not 'missing.' If your son was missing and you were worried, you wouldn't leave your house where his bedroom was."
The Anthonys didn't leave, and they were bombarded for months.
They absolutely did have a choice:
First off - work harder to raise a better human being
Secondly, if that human being who they put into the world, takes the life of another and subjects another family to unspeakable pain , then show them that part of being a man is facing your actions- turn yourself in - then the parents could have some standing when they issue there 2 line statement apologizing to the Petito family for the unspeakable actions of their Son
Then , sell your home in a year and - yes- leave the community because no one - NONE of us want a murderer among us

Really??
Wow.
So he likely has killed himself I believe.
Because if he is alive - his life will certainly be over for good anyway.

He's not missing. He's running. Huge difference.

Why would they bring his car back home and essentially leave him in the reserve without transportation? Why weren't they on every news station pleading for their son's safe return? Because they knew in advance that he had murdered her and helped him get away, that's why. Why can't the police bring charges against these people for obstructing justice? don't they have bank records? flight records? phone records? something?!? Why are we searching in swamps instead of interrogating the very people who know his whereabouts? We're wasting a ton of resources on searching for this guy-the parents know.
Is the state of Florida going to sue them for all the resources being wasted looking for their "missing" son?
They didn't report him missing, they aren't looking for a missing person. Their lawyer informed the police that the parents did not know where he is. They are seeking him out as a person of interest. So I doubt it.
