I don't think they come off as stupid and uneducated at all. I think JimBob especially is a savvy guy. he comes across as a very nice man who is responsible. He was successful before the show you know. He has run many businesses and he was in the Arkansas State house.

I disagree. The writing was on the wall here and if he'd have been smarter and savvier, he would have gone about pushing his agenda forward a lot differently. He got power hungry and now he's likely done more harm than good in terms of pushing his agenda.

People get help. People ask for forgiveness and people change. I'm not going to crucify someone their entire lives based on a year of their teenage life.

Therein lies the rub. The sisters may or may not have gotten help. Josh certainly didn't get adequate help for someone with his escalating behavior. I sincerely doubt this behavior has just extinguished itself. Sexual predation is not a bad mistake that just goes away.

Someone needs to interview those younger kids-the real little ones who may just speak the truth as they are still innocent and perhaps not quite as brainwashed as the older ones-sinister shit is going down in that household. The interviews with the younger kids should be done by trained professionals who are unbiased and dont give a damn about the Duggars "fame" or fortune. Little kids are at risk right now-why the hell has CPS not been banging down the doors of the Duggar compound????

Np. None of us know what transpired in that house or how we as parents would act if something like this occurred in our families. Even if the touching was not as intrusive as let's say rape or digital penetration, what josh did was aberrant. And he knew even at his young age of 14 that what he was doing was illegal, sinful, and unforgivable. A 14 year old with raging hormones still has control over his actions but Josh's desires took over. Which makes me think that He will cave to his desires sometime in the future again.

Let's be clear on one very important point here - I will put down good money to bet that there is WAY MORE beyond these allegations and they are going to come to light any minute. All of the tabloids see the $$$$$ this can pull in and they are going to go after it with a vengeance.

I hate to say this but I know it's true: Josh Duggar has violated many girls/women beyond this latest scandal. We will soon learn how far he's gone.

Thanks so much for posting this article. The scary thing is the Duggar defenders likely think that any form of sex abuse is lumped together with premarital sex and using birth control, and having "lustful thoughts" about your pretty neighbor is the same as having them about a child or a sibling. It's all labeled "wrong" and evil and they therefore don't see the profound difference. It is sad and scary.

Also I never said there was a conversation that wasn't being had, I just pointed out how close minded many of you are, definitely not all of you, but many of you are.

Im not projecting anything, I'm stating what I've observed. Also, I'm not alone, I have a family and friends. I'm a duggar supporter, and I never said it wasn't a big deal, I was molested by a step brother when I was young, so I think I know a little about whether this is a big deal or not.

My point this whole time is that many of the duggar criticizers don't give a rats ass about the duggar children and they are faking outrage because they hate the duggars all along. They are HAPPY about this, not sorry. It's a GOOD thing that this was exposed because now everyone can see how RIGHT they were all along about the duggars being freaks, bigots, hypocrites etc. I find it all so offensive and sick.

And finally, I don't need everyone to agree with me about the duggars, but that doesn't mean my opinion isn't valid. I think everyone needs to leave them alone, they are good people.

Conservative Christian, here. The Duggars are hypocrites who brainwash their kids; their gravy train needs to stop immediately.
