They will next time.
familiar with some of the SJC parents on this team across lax and other sports, and they complain about the refs constantly. It’s insane. Win or lose, makes you want to shove a whistle down their throats and send them out on the field. Insufferable. They are the most delusional type of sports parents.

If PVI and GC continue to field good teams it’s less likely that you will see multiple DMV teams in the top 25. A lot of the top PVI and GC players would have found their way to Gonzaga, Landon, and GP in the past. 15 years ago almost all talent was concentrated in those three schools and then Bullis and SJC emerged over the last decade as consistent programs.
+100.
Worth noting that area rec programs are all folding up shop as lacrosse is morphing into a "club bro" sport marketed towards families who can strike checks $8K a year even at the elementary years. You are seeing fewer athletes (i.e. football players) pick up the stick for the first time due to the perception of the sport and financial barriers. Just look at how poor the quality of play is now in the public schools. JV teams are nearly non-existent for several Fairfax and MoCo schools; this was not the case a decade ago.
Lacrosse is no longer growing in the DMV; it hit a plateau during COVID.

Isn’t PVI very Senior heavy this year? I think they may fall off a cliff next year.

If they play like this, they will run through the IAC
Lol. That doesn’t say much in terms of true talent. The IAC is a weak, inbred league.

That’s called reality. DMV particularly any team in the IAC is mediocre at best. Legends only in the beltway bubble.
Mediocre is a hilarious take.
Look north of Delaware for real lacrosse. The weak will always complain of reclassing which exists in the DMV and PGs. That doesn’t square with the higher quality club teams. Look at both rankings and count how many DMV teams are in the top 25. You only need half of a hand for that.
