Didn’t those workers and their friends and family vote for this. I don’t even have thoughts and prayers to provide.
Yes - that’s why it’s in this thread. This area of Ohio is formerly Democratic but can’t stop believing Trump’s bullsh!t.
To be fair, this is the state where Haitians were eating the cats and the dogs. /s
More seriously, at the time the whole cats and dogs thing was going down, there were a bunch of factory owners who were interviewed about the Haitians. The owners were defending the Haitians and saying they were good workers who showed up on time and sober.
That tells the truth about the rest of the workforce available. It’s a bad generalization but there it is.
Here’s more
I cannot believe they are going after disabled people. How low can this administration go?[/quote]
To HELL

Alabama cousin wrote this on their facebook: "Anyone else’s health insurance go up $500/month starting next year?
No changes to benefits either. WTF???"
Several friends experiencing the same, and commiserating.
One friend said, "That's what was in the bill Nancy Pelosi said had to pass to know what's in it."
Another finally pointed out that the increase is because of Trump and Johnson, and Alabama replied, "keep drinking that rum with your koolaid! Bless your heart."
Alabama didn't know/acknowledge it was an ACA marketplace plan, only that it was a "BCBS Blue Silver Plan."
Doesn't give me hope.
There will never be an Ah Ha moment for many MAGA. They will always blame Dems when something goes wrong and praise GOP if it goes well.
That’s why Democrats “roll over and play dead” approach is so, so wrong. Touch stove doesn’t work.
+1 I just read a report by one of Trump’s pollsters and he claimed voters blame the current economy on “Bidenomics” — despite the fact that we’re 10 months into Trump’s economy, forgetting that inflation had started to head down towards the end of Biden’s administration and now it’s back up, and no mention whatsoever about how Trump’s tariffs are affecting the economy.
Democrats = the party of brown people
And they really hate brown people. They can’t break their addiction to the GOP and how it’s a signal for hating brown people. They don’t want to live near them, share a school with them, or interact with them. They will never blame Republicans for what’s happening to them.
This is why Democrats just need to focus on breaking the GOP and promoting a Cities First agenda. Destroy the GOP’s base of support.
What does this mean? The GOP gets votes because it manages to unite on othering and hatred of others. Seems hard to break that
