I saw supportive posts for Leslie from Joan, Trista, and Caitlyn Bristowe. Didn’t see any for Theresa. The kind thing to do would be to be generous and supportive to both. A simple “we love you Leslie” and “congratulations, Theresa!” right? Anyway, I find this a little puzzling given the nice camaraderie in the house.
Several looked very upset on Leslie's behalf during ATR, and all of them were aware of the not-nice revelations about Gerry's dating life that had just come out. Theresa's feed is full of comments about Gerry being after her money. Honestly, I feel bad for her. I hope both ladies are being supported privately by the other women, at least. They might feel challenged saying anything publicly right now.
Gerry's feed is FULL of criticism, Leslie-specific and about him as a person. He has 100K followers and didn't even post the finale or proposal as a result. The GB producers really screwed the pooch on this one.
For the sake of the show ABC needs to clean up the comments section for Gerry and Theresa. It's a sh*t show. Always amazing to me how people become so rabid about tearing people down from their pedestal.

I read she was a model and actress, but the source was not one I recognized, so I don’t think it is true. My bet is Theresa either gets an iron clad prenup or breaks up with him. Reading his reply to the story - he is mendacious!

The probably think Theresa doesn’t need support at this point.
But it's also supporting the show, right? Happy ending, yay! Also, it never hurts to be kind, especially when it ended up being much more complicated, negative even, than she envisioned.
DP. You’re reading way too much into things in what seems like a desperate attempt to vilify Theresa. It’s not a good look…for you.
Wtf are you talking about? In what way does this post vilify Theresa?
You are waaaay too emotionally invested in the outcome. Ask yourself why you’re so desperate to find reasons to believe Theresa must be an awful, cunning, ugly, undeserving person. You: “Oooh, the winner isn’t getting as much support as the loser, therefore the others must think the winner is a bad person.” No, that’s how it always works: a loser who is distraught on national tv is going to get a lot of support—and that’s a good thing. It doesn’t mean anything about the other person, as much as you apparently want to believe it does.
Have you read the comments on Theresa’s Instagram? The majority are mean, even vicious. You have an odd take on things, but that seems consistent in your easy-to-identify diatribes.
So you’re claiming that an internet mob of people who don’t know Theresa personally somehow validates your own claims here that Theresa is mean, cunning, and generally less deserving than Leslie.
GTFO of here. I’m not alone on this thread in thinking you’re as nasty as you‘re trying to portray Theresa.

Yeah, it's questioning why the ladies aren't being more supportive. Theresa's feed is full of nasty jibes now. I agree she could use support. Leslie's comments are kinder. But I agree they both can use support, as well as producers hiring someone to edit out the meaner comments.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Here's my take on Gerry. The women's value to him was only based on his interest in them. Once he was no longer interested, he cared not one whit about them as individuals. Dispatched them as quickly as possible, they were strangers to him at that point. There's a coldness to him, evident in his treatment of his ex-girlfriend as well. I hope Theresa will be okay. Leslie is for sure better off.
But you would have all criticized him if he continued to show support for the women he had cut, and you know it (ie, you would have said he was leading them on or disloyal to the remaining contenders).
He was nice to walk them out for private conversations after the rose ceremonies.
And I don’t remember a lot of men crying because it bothered them to hurt someone emotionally.

But I think it is kind that he did not lead her on until the last minute (probably much to the producer’s chagrin). More respectful to Theresa also. (A few hours at least of loyalty. And he does not have to watch Leslie be shocked.)
Was he crying because he hated hurting her or because he was shutting that door? We will never know…
It was hard to watch. She was traumatized and it felt invasive to watch.
Did anyone else feel guilty?
That we are the market for a form of entertainment that ends in a real person feeling that pain?
No. I felt no guilt. They made a choice to be on this show. No one forced any of them.
Ugh, duh, yep I did. I was responding to someone who asked if there was guilt felt. Why would I feel guilt? Did you feel guilt and rush to turn the show off? Didn't think so.
And you made a choice to watch this.
