New thread will get the same posts. What's the point?

It's a new year -- maybe they will change the "uniform" policy, finally. I'd rather see a loose dress code, like the other schools in the neighborhood.

We were zoned for Deal, but starting next year (when my DC enters 6th) we are zoned for Hardy. I'm not sure we will go on to Hardy, but will be encouraged if there are more IB kids there. Anyone know the numbers of IB for this year? Hardy is farther away from our house than Deal, and many neighborhood kids remain zoned for Deal. Would love to hear how Hardy is faring these days.

People aren't thinking much about middle school at this stage, or maybe they are betting that Hardy might get halfway decent in another six years. In any event, Horace Mann and Key have the highest IB enrollment percentages of any Ward 3 schools, but so far that hasn't translated into much take up increase for Hardy.
