What about the Soph-Seniors on BF team? Give them some recognition too.
It was a total team win.
BF goalie was lights out and is definitely one of the best in the state.

Congrats to the young BF team. Madison looked like they were in control in the 3rd, but BF kept pushing and chipping away. Both goalies played well. Some untimely fouls/cards and turnovers on the clear in the 4th, did Madison in. Both teams will be formidable come playoff time.
With the huge drop-off in talent this year across the VHSL, it’s nice to see a competitive game. These teams would have been middle of the pack a few years ago, but two of the better teams this year. YT is still the clear favorite this season.
I am not sure if you are remembering your older daughter’s lacrosse days too fondly or what, but this “huge drop off in talent” is not what you are making it out to be. I have also been in the HS lacrosse world for many years and the good players are getting stronger, not weaker. The talent may be more condensed to fewer schools and there may be more schools with average to below average talent, but the top teams this year would compete with the top teams of years past.

What does it matter? Do you know every player from every school and their club affiliation?

says a goalie’s dad. Their goalie daughter could trip and accidentally hit a ball that was off-cage and they will claim she is All Met. Anonymous wrote:Madison person here. Great game last night. Impressed with how tough BF girls played. Overheard folks say a lot of the girls were former Stars players and then dispersed to different clubs for high school. My daughter hopes to play BF again for the championship. See you there!

BF coach.

You are going to have to explain this. She gave up 7 goals - 50% is 7 saves on 14 shots. Did she have like 20 saves (so 27 shots on goal)? Lights out is like 65-70% right?
Could she just have played well? Why is everything with BF like an infomercial to the rest of us? Lights out! Absolute best! Buy now! You are all exhausting.
Sounds like the goalies both played pretty good based upon the score.
Your mom and I had the lights out last night. You need me to explain that one too?
