It’s horrifying. It proves that it’s all about hating women, nothing else, and that the cruelty is the point. These draconian laws will catch so many women who aren’t even pursuing abortion but need one to save their lives.
A lot of people will be caught in the net. Stories will get out and spread by word of mouth. Why would you choose to live in a place where you’re absolutely f*cked if your pregnancy goes bad—if you have the option to escape?

I’m in pro life and abortion debate forums and the general consensus is that activist pro choice doctors are purposely withholding lifesaving medical care for the media stories.
There's literally research published about how restrictive laws create confusion among medical professionals.
But also, think about this: If you're this determined to only believe what you want to believe and disregard ALL evidence to the contrary (or move goalposts as a method of explaining away any research that contradicts your belief), that is the hallmark of a conspiracy theorist.
You are a conspiracy theorist. Ask yourself, what would it take for me to believe anything different than what I believe? If you can't come up with anything you've revealed your own bias to yourself.

Don't tempt fate. Have your pregnancy in a state that can attract quality professionals and where the medical professionals can practice the best standards of care.
Believe me, people will get the message and it won’t take a big national news story to do it. Humans will *always* want to live where they have more rights, not less.
You should listen to Ezra Kleins podcast (todays episode). I’m a lefty liberal but blue state policies, especially on housing, means that moving for the chance of pregnancy complications is wildly unrealistic.
