It doesn't matter what you say. It matters what the law says. And how it's enforced.

It has already become a state issue. It's easier to get abortions in some states than others. And it's going to get worse. Some states will outright ban abortion in any circumstance or prosecute people who go out of state to get an abortion in states where it's legal. The effect will be no abortions in many states. So, no, it's not just like getting a driver's license.

The opinion state that it should fall to representatives but does NOT say states. It absolutely opens the door to a federal ban.

Yes. They can. It goes back to the States because there is no federal law. There is no federal law because under Roe it was considered an inherent right. A federal law would supercede. It's a two step process.

They also just said women have no rights because they didn’t used to have any rights and they murdered stare decisis. I think it’s safe to say the religious tribunal is doing exactly what it wants.
