No, the interview prep notes weren't exculpatory. Neither were the file notes.

Sorry.

Look - you might think that the prosecutors and FBI agents Mueller hired and those in high level positions in the FBI are as pure as the driven snow, but you are wrong.
Yeah - even "career civil servants" and attorneys can be corrupt. They took actions that were contrary to their job and responsibilities in order to "get the man." You just can't admit that actions they took were unethical and, in some cases, illegal, because to you - the end justifies the means. As long as it makes Trump, or anyone in his administration, look corrupt or criminal, you are fine with it. Even if what they did was wrong.

The FBI and our IC go after bad guys. Trump has been laundering Russian money for decades. Flynn was on the turkish and Russian payroll. Manafort worked against US interests and aligned with Russia in Ukraine.

Who are the bad guys? Why are you thinking Trump, Flynn and Manafort are the good guys here? It makes no sense. The career people and law enforcement were doing their jobs - monitoring the bad guys. The problem? The bad guys were dealing with certain Americans, including current and former Trump people. And yet, Fox News has people like you brainwashed to be against our IC and Law Enforcement because they have twisted the facts and contorted legal opinion in such a way that people like you are doing mental pretzels to say this is ok.

It isn't ok. please understand what is happening. Our country is being taken over by people whose allegiance are not to our flag or our country. You can see this manifest from everything including the response to the pandemic, the shifting alliances - what did the US get for pulling out of the TPP or leaving Syria? Nothing. What did Trump get? Money. Money from the Turks, money from the Chinese, money from the Saudi's. All at the expense of the US Treasury and the goodwill of the once great international force that was the United States of America.

We are not better now and we are not going to be great again under this "leadership" - rising unemployment, rising death, cities in mayhem, shrinking GDP...who does this favor? Because it isn't the American people.

I can't help you. If you truly believe everything you wrote, I cannot help you.
You totally ignore the evidence. You totally ignore how these "righteous" agents and prosecutors who were only "monitoring the bad guys" trampled on the civil liberties of anyone they could along the way, manufactured charges and crimes so that they could carry on in what appeared to be a "legal" fashion and try to overthrow a democratically elected administration.
And, it's not just Barr saying this. It was Horowitz. It is Jeff Jensen. It is people who are uncovering egregious conduct on the part of those who were trusted to uphold the law.
I doubt you will ever believe this - even with unequivocal evidence. Which, is coming soon enough.

Sure they were. Throw in the "no derogatory information" and closing of Crossfire Razor directive, as well.

That's not what "exculpatory" means. If you don't know what it means, then maybe you should find out.

According to Brady, it is any evidence favorable to the accused.

It is correct. Boente is career. He can be reassigned, but not fired.

What about for cause?

It would need to go through a standards review, which usually take months/years.

And, Wray/Barr/Trump wouldn't want that because it would force Boente to provide the goods on his work. Under oath.

What if charges are involved?

This is what I am hearing.

He was the only one left in the organization, who had signed/cosigned on one of the Page FISA applications.

More properly, Wray should have prevented it.

This is bad news across the board. When the president fires career feds, it's bad for all agencies as well as law enforcement.

How do you know this hasn't been under review for months?
Don't you think the timing is interesting,....

Flynn case dismissed by DOJ (status still pending), Flynn transcripts released, FBI reviewing Flynn investigation, Durham close to finishing his investigation........
Now, Boente out.

And, as for Boente's work, I would love for him to testify. Maybe HE doesn't want to do that.

Well, this is reason enough....

"Boente signed one of the warrants renewing the FBI's authority to surveil Flynn. The warrants, known as FISA warrants, were renewed several times and had to be approved by a judge."

This NEVER happened. There were never any FISA warrants on Flynn. I don't know if the reporter screwed up, or if someone took bad information from the source, but that is an outright falsehood.

It was in the NBC link above. Now, NBC has this:

CORRECTION (May 30, 2020, 6:43 p.m.): An earlier version of this article misstated the target of FISA warrants signed by Dana Boente. The warrants involved President Donald Trump’s former campaign advisor Carter Page, not former national security adviser Michael Flynn. The reference to the warrants has been removed
