Bingo

VRSC?

Hahahaha
0.000% chance.

So who is it then?

Sterling, Herndon, odfc, LFC...they'll go after smaller clubs and offer them a pathway they can't get on their own.
for the boys

And VRSC will have to see from the fence seeing these smaller orgs what they’re ignorant money can’t achieve, serves em right

Stop. If you are honest with yourself for a just a minute, you will admit the smaller clubs will be nothing more than a name on a sign/website . They will offer not much more than money to NVA. In turn, NVA will offer the parents, and kids, at these clubs an empty bottle of hopeium.

And VRSC isn’t offering hopeium? Literally no actual platform unlike NVA. So, try harder next time?

Even without an alliance, MLSN/GA has strategically established a pathway for top male and female players in the LoCo/Western Fairfax County region and beyond. This clearly defined pyramid will simplify the pathway choices for parents and players. With the STJ repositioned to Aspire (GA II), VRSC positioned MLSN II and lower level GA teams at the present time, there is a deliberate funneling of players to the top tier at NVA.
This will make player identification easier for US Soccer, DCU acadmey/out of market MLS academies, female pro academies, college coaches etc.

This is not rocket science.

NVA and Loudoun are one organization with the same office staff and board of directors, the top u13-u19 teams just wear different uniforms and use different social media accounts.

Exactly so why have two different brands and confuse consumers (parents) in the marketplace and dilute the Loudoun brand. Just be like Tophat - have two GA teams and call them Loudoun GA red and Loudoun GA Black.

there were multiple factors, but the primary were:
- the loudoun brand had grown toxic, specifically on the girls side, and they wanted to shake things up to stop the defections to FCV
- ECNL parents did not want to be offered the same service as general travel parents - their kids were best in class, and they wanted their services to reflect as much
- the "shiny new toy" as a marketing gimmick is a staple of youth soccer, and that argument won the day against leveraging and building existing brand value
