Yeah, I have a lot to say.
Harris and Walz’s vision and plan for our country is a rising tide, progress and respect for all. They’re thoughtful people, even keeled and delightfully normal. As a woman I especially enjoy the fact that they both think women are people. Literally none of that could be said of the GOP.

OK but we are NOT TALKING about Trump. It's not a if one person does this - but let's not talk about it because we have something worse to talk about. If a person does X - they have done X. It does not make X go away. I don't understand Dems who keep deferring to how evil Trump/Vance is (I totally think they are evil yes) so that somehow absolves any wrong doing of every single kind from Walz/Harris. I mean the way some folks would have it - NOTHING EVER that the Dems do is worthy of a conversation about it not being successful, correct, perfect. I get that GOP sucks and I get that Trump is a disaster but the biggest issue of why Dems had Hilary who couldn't beat him the first time is they focus totally on the other candidate. Calling the other person the worst person on earth does not make your person the best person on earth. It may be totally true that your person is better, but you have to stick with the facts for why your person is better!
Walz is better because he has a soul, heart and brains.
JD hates women, children and democracy, plus he’s dumb as a stump.

Walz is a raconteur. And is also talking to people who are not that familiar with current events. Tiananmen Square is shorthand for many about the crackdown and the abrupt change in China’s treatment of its citizens. It was a real shock at the time because it seemed as if China had a rosier future. It’s not necessarily the day the tanks rolled in. I agree if you’re running for office, you probably need to be more precise if only because of the pointless search for gotcha moments.
But of course Vance lied about policy positions he currently espouses everywhere but on the debate stage. So it’s hard to get that worked up about Walz’ story.
