How…convenient.

However, the plot thickens.

So now we know how the bra, robe, and poem got there. Maybe he’s wearing the ring at the end because his mother thinks he’s married and it’s easier that way?!

The Katie Lowes character is so cheesy.

+1
This is exactly what it was. Nothing more, nothing less.

Gotta say, if it's not Sophie, they are almost making this Kevin-Madison shipper sad it is not.

Yes, was discussed many, many pages back.

Are you always this rude?

+1
Probably the same PP who said exactly the same thing when someone was praising the excellent casting choices, especially for Kate. The PP is extremely rude.

But can’t be Sophie’s clothes in Kevin room. Her luggage was lost and the clothes in room are not what she’s wearing.

For future discussions please post a link to the video,yu are talking about. Some videos are putting scenes together the way they think it will,be and not the original video from the show.

Look at Randall, when he’s n the porch. Hardly any gray hair. Look at him in the kitchen when asking where Kevin is. His hair is almost completely gray.

The doorknob seems consistent. Mayyyybe the walls are questionable but that's an easy continuity error depending on the set. And when he asked "where is..." and the answer is "already in there"...remember that this scene is from when we didn't even know Rebecca was in the room, so they were holding back on even the fact that Nicky was there.

I'm all for a conspiracy theory but no matter how many times I watch it I can't see it another way.

From the link that was above:

:0 through :20 and again at :45 though 1:00 and then again at 1:30 -- year 2030 (approximately) - the twins are about 12 years old and Tess is about 27. They're going to see "her" at Kevin's house. Randall says, "I'm going to go say hi. Where is -" and Beth says "he's already in there."

There is a cut in the scene and we see Randall walk down a hallway. Safe to assume it's the same location/time though because he is wearing the same outfit. You can see the door ahead of him. It's a textured wall and you can see windows or glass to the left of the door.

There are clear and obvious cuts to child Randall walking in a hospital to visit Rebecca including the him looking at an industrial-hospital style doorknob.

At 2:03, you see adult Randall about to touch a doorknob. This door and the walls surrounding it do not look at all like the door we saw him walking towards in Kevin's house. I thought it was glass on the left of the door in Kevin's house but it appears they might be shelves or something (1:48)

At 2:04, you see a hand touch an industrial-hospital style doorknob and open it, but it seems very clear that this is an adult man and Rebecca is on the inside of the room. But it's blurry. And at 2:10 it cuts to child Randall in Rebecca's hospital room. But watch 2:04 through 2:10 and it's very clear it was not child Randall who opened the door.

And then at 2:14, Randall is in Rebecca's room, the door is open (and it looks like the doorknob from 2:03 to me, the horizontal lever type). It's definitely Rebecca because he says, "It's me, your son, Randall." Then cuts again to the kids visiting Rebecca in the hospital when they were about 10. Then you see Randall again, he looks at Nicky and says hi.

It's the shot at 2:03 that makes no sense to me. Also, the shot at 2:04 where (what appears to be) adult Randall opens a hospital-type doorknob and (and what appears to be) Rebecca's room - why would Kevin's house have a doorknob like that? Doesn't make sense.

So either the show screwed up, which is possible, or I think Rebecca is dying somewhere other than in Kevin's house. And everyone is gathered at Kevin's to see someone else -- a female, and some male is already in there with her (based on the Randall/Beth dialogue). The only women who could be in that room that Toby would come to see are: Kate (but she doesn't die because she's alive later), Madison, Hailey. And the men who could be in there with those women are: Phillip or Elijah.

One more thing - we do see Kevin's twins in the room with Rebecca in a different clip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs-NYjpjM7E) and they look to be the same age as the other scenes in the kitchen, etc. So if everyone is indeed gathered at Kevin's to see someone other than Rebecca, the Rebecca scenes take place close to the same time.

So who knows? Probably just a show continuity error and I'm obsessing over nothing.

You ARE obsessing. Give it a rest and just enjoy.

It seems clear Randall sees Rebecca when he opens the door so I’m puzzled by the theories involving others. I saw the door continuity issue and thought it was an emotional callback to how he felt as a little boy visiting his mom in the hospital.

She has Philip to lean and bring chalk on if it is just her mother dying. One of the Pearson daughters remarks that Uncle Kevin will having enough food for an army AGAIN, so this has happened before. I also think we are seeing two death scenes that have been carefully crafted and edited to appear as one in the flashforwards.

I don't see what the PP is seeing in the linked scene, but I do think there is a surprise to come, most likely involving Kate.

Also, this scene was at the end of Season 3 when we didn't know a lot of what has happened now. I could see this scene being revisited and "filled out" more. But I agree that it makes no sense for Toby to be there unless Kate is involved somehow. But these people march to their own drummer.
