It just doesn’t square with me. Don’t get me wrong- sexting is cheating and is not a good thing at all. But- to immediately and utterly call it quits to me shows a lack of biblical following. Where do the vows come— for better or for worse? I think there’s a limit to how much you can do, and surely there’s more to it. I guess it depends on how egregious it truly was. Maybe he was sharing pictures of his loins and other stuff. Who knows.

Agreed. I always thought it was something more along these lines or an emotional affair.

I know absolutely nothing, but I think he met the current girlfriend while he was married and it led to the end of the marriage. Jen had to make it extra dramatic and insinuate that one big event happened to cover up for the fact that they’ve been faking it for a long time. Maybe the only thing to unsee was the end of her marriage.

If Brandon’s current girlfriend was hanging out with his motorcycle gang before the blow up with Jen we have our answer, because he said the first time he saw Tina he was overcome by her beauty and got nervous. Not what you should be feeling as a secure happily married man, but as newly single guy for sure. If he was sexting with Tina then left Jen for her that would explain a lot. Tina sure likes to flaunt her assets. The photo he took of her on the rustic front porch of his sales office with her dress unbuttoned low with her breasts perfectly sticking out without a bra. She looked gorgeous but it sure seemed like she’d been perfecting her sexting poses for awhile. Hmmmm?

Tyler is a male version of Jen. They both take themselves very seriously especially as social justice warriors, but they also appear big hearted, funny and love big.(love bomb big)
Unfortunately his self righteous public announcement videos feel like they are only geared to slap around any dissidents to woke issues. His eyes get extra big as he scolds his viewers. The one he did to lambast Texas governor Greg Abbott over transgenderism was hard to take. He kept calling him Greg, over and over. It was condescending and full cringe. All the videos have this same format with the slow speech, big eyed stares and vitriolic scolding. Exhausting and honestly creepy. His voice has this lilt that I’m still trying to decode. Is that a gay man voice? Or am I misinterpreting his over emotional high drama pleas incorrectly?

Good insight on Glennon’s messiah complex. I found it amazing she could write an entire book on saving her marriage and have it become an Oprah endorsed best seller when she’d already left him for a lesbian affair before it came out. There was no push back that all she wrote was essentially bogus. I’m not aware of where there is a safe honest place to discuss her. She has a cult like following that worships her every move, it’s kind of scary.

Has anyone here read his book? If so, anything you’d share about your impression, what he said, did it make sense, is it as groundbreaking and/or inspiring as he seems to present it? Is it more about all the famous people he’s met or partied with? His posts about people writing to tell him they’ve have been inspired or changed and the community of people involved kind of give me Jen-like vibes, as in it’s just all promos or an image he’s he’s trying to portray (or something he actually believes) but wanted to know thoughts if you have read it.

This is my first time posting and I've been following this page for about a year. It's honestly a relief to hear so many people calling out the BS that they see with Jen. You all have been able to put into words what I've been thinking but struggling to articulate for awhile. But can we please also talk about Glennon Doyle? There is no place on the internet to discuss her and her cringey bizarreness. I started following her probably 10 years ago when all she had was a web site called "Momastery" that catered to white, suburban Christian moms. Who she is now is a far cry from the original image she curated for herself. Her books are ridiculous, she seems manic, appears to have a Messiah complex, and her catch phrases ("we can do hard things!") make me wanna barf. How we do create a Glennon thread?!!!!

ANC had some truly lovely people and families involved with it in the beginning.

It’s a shame it’s leadership and founders largely had other motives. Namely to promote Jen’s brand and image.

Does she or Brandon even go there anymore? Does anyone?

So it seems we have multiple groups here. Those hurt by the Hatmaker shell game at ANC, the former online devotees who’ve been chased away by Jen for their devotion to the Bible and church, those who love some good snarkiness, and the curious who want to know what the real story is in the crazy-making gaslighting hellscape. Did I miss anybody?
