Join the local gardening club, get on youtube and learn to grow at least some of your own produce in the backyard or in pots on your deck. Buy from your local farmers market. Take your neighbor's unwanted zucchini off his hands. Or just pay up at the grocery store. You may have to drop the soda, energy drinks and buy less wine DCUM, but somehow you will make it through.

There's nothing less believable than a Republican pretending to care about the underclass being exploited. Nor a Republican who wants to pretend that the Republicans of 160 years ago in any way, shape or form resemble the Republicans of today.

The nation (and the cotton industry) survived the disruption caused by liberating slaves and we will survive a disruption caused by food growing and production ceasing to utilize the people you want to work long hours for less pay and fewer rights.
