The guy who heads VA Metro is a nut job and has a history of body shaming girls (calling them fat). Plus some of the most obnoxious and rude sideline participats are form VA Metro. I recently observed them at a tournament and was apalled at their behavior. I would stay far away from VA Metro.

Depends whether on A or B team. In our experience there is a significant disparity in coaching, tournaments and talent between the two.

Now that he is the HC at Bishop O'Connell, he has now formed a Club Blue VA program. I would imagine the end goal is to help grow the game but also attract some kids to look at O'Connell.
The effort to use a club program for the benefit of a high school (Prep) failed due to IAC rules. The expansion of the Annapolis Hawks, Maryland Hawks (2021), didn't happen because the IAC won't let a coach (Urick) coach more than 5 players on a team that are part of his high school program. Wonder if the WCAC has the same rule?
Prep got very good with its club feeder.
