If Trump voters recognize their error and will do differently in the future, great. We should encourage them to do that. And if/when they actually DO differently, we can talk about what kind of tent they can be part of.
But someone who voted for Trump in 2024 is dangerous. They are willfully ignorant, supportive of authoritarianism, and against freedom for people who look and think differently than them. It's going to take more than a "whoops 😅" to atone for what they have done.
The tent is they can see the error of their past ways and vote for someone who supports their well-being. Democrats don't make policy to attack huge deaths of the population. Stopping suicidal behavior will be its own reward for reformed MAGA.

Canada, Germany, UK, France have all been equally supportive. They have sizable Persian diaspora populations, so this is probably smart feel-good politics. Not so fast. Iran is closing the strait of Hormuz, and the problem is that oil prices will skyrocket. If that goes on for too long, Putin's Russia will make a mint off their oil. People don't quite understand that Russia is a one-trick pony and its only resource is oil. It needs the oil money more than it needs weaponry from abroad, since it can make weaponry and indeed, has transformed its economy into a war economy. The war has dragged into a stalemate at the front because Russia is now squeezed by low oil prices. If they go back up... Russia might win the war.
So we do NOT want a long-drawn out conflict in the Middle East.

No foreign wars is/was fundamental to MAGA. It’s a large part of why MTG left. And frankly as a Harris voter, this element was the only thing about MAGA that ever appealed to me. We do have to address Americans’ well-being. And tbh I didn’t think Trump would send ground forces into another country.

Israel doesn’t do things blindly. We see by how precise they were assassinating the govt leaders. When they target schools and hospitals, it is definitely intentional and not by mistake. Their satellites record who is walking in and out of the building so they knew it was a school.
They feel invincible because they’re hiding under the covers in Israel from all the missiles intercepted by the US who are based in six or seven Arab nations.
That’s why Iran is bombing the bases because the bases in the Arab states are the ones shooting down the missiles they’re targeting at Israel
