Video shows the beach is some distance from the resort. She was alone and unprotected and visibly impaired.

I don't see anywhere on there that kidnapping wealthy American tourists for sex trafficking is a thing. The whole point of sex trafficking is taking people who no one is going to make a fuss over, or who maybe no one will even notice is missing. An American college student is not that.

This isn't an American tourist in fact the title should be missing college student from India

Yes that was tragic and happened like 25 years ago in a completely different country. Not relevant.

Time will tell.

Agree but I feel the same about Mexico and people on here act like it’s heaven on earth. Hard pass to both.

Well it doesn't matter what internet sleuths think, generally...But what if investigators took this attitude and didn't rule out all possibilities? They shouldn't just take the words of the last person to see her alive at face value.

How do you know what the rest of the world was fine with? You don't know "the rest of the world." While the posters on this forum are also certainly not "the rest of the world," plenty on here have been talking about the various possibilities, including what her father has been asking.

I doubt that very much.

What else would she do? There is no evidence she came out and lay down on the beach. Unlikely she would wander father down in the beach into the dark. Even drunk, her brain would take her towards the lights. And being crashed into the sand by the waves in the water would have probably sobered her up slightly.

That's why there are people searching sea and land.

How do you know she *would* have? Have you been to the beach and gotten in the water in broad daylight? You come out from the ocean and try to find where you had your beach chair in the sand? You don't just come out at that same location you started off. She could have been disoriented with direction at that point walking but unsure the way to resort? Remember in hotel security video, she seemed to be having difficulty going to the beach from hotel when she had that guy to lean on and possibly her friends to help if needed. Hard to believe there was no one else (besides Mr.J Riibe) on the beach after 5am who could have seen a bikini wearing young woman walking around.

During our stay, my husband and I experienced a deeply concerning incident after consuming drinks at one of the pool bars. We both became severely disoriented and incapacitated after only two drinks each, leading us to suspect tampering with our beverages. This was not only alarming but left our young daughter frightened as we struggled to care for her. Guest safety should be a top priority, and this experience made us feel anything but secure. Upon arriving home, we reached out to the resort about our concerns and we were met with disbelief. They failed to even ask for the simplest of details of our experience and assured us things were researched and investigated. There couldn’t possibly have been any investigation due to not even asking the time, place or even a description of the bartender who served our drinks.

Let's see, there's
Lobby alcohol
Mini bars
AND
Pool bars?

DR resorts better get their act together or no one is vacationing at their resorts. #boycott.resort.alcohol

No one has been named a suspect. The last person to see a missing person is always considered a person of interest.

Her father doesn't seem to think JR is a suspect either. He seems to think some randoms found his daughter and trafficked her.
