1. Because he knows it’s unlikely to be released and then he can blame the judge
2. Because that testimony is restricted to charges against Epstein and Maxwell and is unlikely to name clients
3. Because it generates delay and confusion.
Yes. This. It’s the banking records we want release. You know, I don’t really care how much Trump is tied up in all of this and wish the Ds would stop pushing that angle. It’s all the others who we don’t know that worry me.

Gross. If I had a teen daughter I would show her this and hammer it into her head that she absolutely must stay away from filthy perverts like Trump. Doing otherwise will only open the door to exploitation and years of trauma. No modeling career is with it. So just stay the fxxk away, and run… like… hell in the opposite direction.
(For the life of my I can’t understand how their mothers supported this, if they even know what was going on and the slimeball their daughters were wrapped up with).
We really should not put policing of this on the TWEENS!!!!
How about all if the many adults who look the other way step up and protect our children?

I grew up in the 80s and I actually remember slime ball teachers hitting on MS girls, the girls’ mothers thought this was flattering? I suppose and would feed into it by baking cookies for the slime ball teacher and hanging out with the slime ball outside of school. I remember girls sitting on one particular teacher’s lap in class. The 80s and 90s were great time but there was also a lack of accountability due to the absence of cell phones and social media. I knew many gold digging women/mothers back then who enjoyed objectifying their daughters and seemed to have absolutely no problem with older men checking out their young daughters.
I grew up in the 80s, too. I believe the main reason my mother never fell for that crap was because she had been victimized when she was in her teens and clearly understood it’s not a form of flattery— it’s being violated by a pervert.

Folks this is it: the MAGA civil war. Trump realizes the monied powers behind the GOP are trying to dump him for Vance. This is the formal breakup between Trump and RW media.
Holy sh#t. Get ready for Trump’s Night of the Long Knives.
Stop it with your break-up theory. The majority of MAGA is loyal to Trump.
Also, to another PP, of course the WSJ knew Trump was going to sue. It says so in the article. He was reached for comment, and he told them he would sue if they published. And on that point, history shows he's a man of his word. So obviously WSJ has the goods to back up their claim.
The question is, are Murdoch and the editor going to quash the intrepid reporters and settle with Trump? I hope not.
Who would have thought ABC and CBS would settle with him, but they did. I hope the WSJ has irrefutable proof that it was done by Trump. Although I have to agree with Don Jr. that it doesn't really sound like Trump and doodling is supposedly a sign of intelligence so...
I think that the WSJ has a lot more. The birthday love note was bait.
I think the WSJ snipe + the health report this week is a shot across Trump's bow. The oligarchs got their tax cut out of him and now they're ready to toss him overboard. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump is on it and just wants to retire and hand the keys to Vance.
^ All of this!
Trump may want to retire, but he doesn't want to be disgraced. Not his thing at all.
I hope he becomes disgraced as a pedophile, which he should be. The more we learn, the more disgusting he becomes. For example, someone from Epstein’s network from France sent Trump three 12 year old girls as a present (see previous posts)? So horrible.
And shame on the women with political power in this country who knew what was going on for years and said nothing, or worse, assisted him and Epstein. There’s a word for such women— madam.
