Putin didn’t need to worry about NATO while Trump was in power because his lapdog (Trump) was working to destabilize NATO internally). Now that Trump is out of power and NATO was strengthening again under Biden, Putin feels threatened.

He's said repeatedly that NATO is his issue not reconstituting the USSR. That's why he's also threatened Romania, Bulgaria, Finland and Sweden. It's frankly odd that you are claiming otherwise.
LOL, you didn't see his speech declaring war on Ukraine, did you? He told you exactly why he was invading Ukraine-he does not consider it a country.

There was an 80 year old Ukrainian featured on the news this morning. He was lining up to get a weapon at a government site. Said he was fighting so his grandchildren could grow up in a free Ukraine.
Yep. And, the fact that Zelenskyy has remained and continues to encourage citizens to fight back gives the people of Ukraine the desire to do so.
He is truly a leader.

His invasion of Ukraine is the very reason WHY NATO should be expanded - because Putin's Russia can not be trusted and is a direct and imminent threat to neighbor nations. Putin's actions this week have proven that beyond any shadow of doubt. Any other argument is just disingenuous spin and deflection.
