I'm OK with books that discourage racism and discrimination. I'm not OK with books that indoctrinate kids into believing racism and discrimination are good. I also believe that politics should be left out of schools but if someone is going to include them they should include everything and not just one, usually leftist, perspective.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I'd be OK with most of them as well. That book is not banned at all; anyone can buy it on Amazon. And most public libraries let you check it out for free.
It’s banned in Florida schools.

Which book aimed at kids talks about CRT? I’d like to know so I can buy it for my kids!
You're talking about banning most, if not all, history books. You don't show an understanding of these terms.
Prediction: Someone will point out the flaws in your argument and then you'll jump to some other wackadoodle position.
Well, McWhorter has said on multiple occasions that systemic racism is real and exists. So based on your criteria his books shouldn't be available. But I'd be okay with all of those books to be on shelves even though I may not agree with everything they say.
So in summary, you're okay with books that you personally agree with but not with books that you personally disagree with. That's not a good method.

if a library had the book and then had to remove it, it's banned. Educate yourself.
