It seems Lou Smit's family is intent on upholding his theory rather than finding out the truth.

I can't believe this thread is so old. It feels like it was just six months ago that we were talking about this stuff.

Gary Oliva, 54, a convicted pedophile who is currently serving a 10-year sentence in a Colorado prison for child pornography, has admitted in letters obtained by DailyMailTV he killed her by accident.

Oliva does not explain in the letters why he was at the Ramsey home that night but investigations have shown he was using an address just ten blocks away at the time JonBenét was murdered.

It may not be "definitive", as in "proof positive because it was caught on camera", but really...just look at the note.

No intruder is going to sit around and write a 3-page note. Period. An intruder wants to get in and out without getting caught.

The note said the kidnappers would call between 8 and 10 that morning. According to more than a dozen witnesses, including police, neither parent appeared to be paying any attention to the phone or the clock. They weren't sitting by the phone, staring at the clock because they knew there wouldn't be a call coming in. They knew there were no kidnappers.

If you can find a source and read the entire letter you'll see what I'm talking about. I can't provide a link because I read it a long time ago and don't recall the source.

Who killed cock Robin? This happened over 20 years ago! Her mother has died, father lost his business as well as the accusations that he and his wife covered up the son killing her or the mother killed her because JB wet her bed or the son was jealous.

OK, I was channel-surfing late last night and - simultaneously - there were TWO different documentaries on this case as well as a TV movie.

The mom was definitely involved. She wrote the ransom note. It was her or the brother and the mom trying to cover up for him.
