Subject: Anybody following the Karen Read trial in Boston?

Oh, please. The problem with our system is that rich, white collar criminals are getting away with financial crimes every day that affect us all. And the biggest white collar criminal of all is in the Oval Office. Clearly, Americans haven’t cared about justice in decades.

Feel bad? No. I would be super surprised at the coincidences though and I would think Karen has some serious 6th sense ability.

That isn’t what they’re saying. The jurors who have spoken out so far have said that some weren’t sure but there was enough reasonable doubt (particularly around the fact her taillight was illuminated in the tow truck and 5am videos) that it was a NG verdict. It was 100% consistent with the law and that you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The CW did not prove guilt.
"At first for me, I thought Karen Read was actually maybe guilty of manslaughter in the beginning. But as the weeks passed by, I just realized there was too many holes that we couldn't fill and there is nothing that put her on the scene in our opinion besides just dropping John O'Keefe off," Prado said.
"And the taillight, the injuries on his arm didn't make much sense that come from a taillight for us," she said.
She said the last witness from ARCCA did a very good job making it clear for her. "We couldn't prove there was a collision, and she was responsible for John's death," Prado said.

That isn’t what they’re saying. The jurors who have spoken out so far have said that some weren’t sure but there was enough reasonable doubt (particularly around the fact her taillight was illuminated in the tow truck and 5am videos) that it was a NG verdict. Like it or not, all were found not guilty.
The Casey Anthony case was a blatant over charge leading to nothing. They didn't have proof of how the kid died, yet they death certified and had to try to prove aggravating factors for the death penalty.
A good prosecutor hates a media case or ignores it as much as possible. A bad one lets the media storm cause them to charge past evidence and not try to do a plea to something they might be able to actually get (like a manslaughter charge).

Come on. There’s a tech person in every police dept that wipes devices or destroys them when they are obsolete. Police don’t individually decide how to handle information. It is regulated.
This PO dept was a total farce and anyone saying she was acquitted because of her lies and turtle boy blah blah is not facing reality.
I personally believe they had a fight in the house and dumped him outside or something along those lines, but I really don’t know.
What I do know, is that the police and that group were shady liars.
I never said it was standard police procedure.
Right so at minimum he was willing to break police rules and obviously had something illegal or unethical on his phone. That’s a bare minimum with this guy who ‘slept through’ a dead guy and ambulances etc on his front lawn. Come on
