Also seen many, many trucks delivering all sorts of things: Michaels, dollar store, food stores, cars, Prime . . . and those are just the ones I recall making a note of. Economy IS moving despite the lying bullsh-- talking points being circulated.

The Republicans are openly hoping for the economy to crash and working to make that happen. That’s their hope. They projected that on all of us when Trump was still in office, but they’re pushing hard for collapse.

You probably used an airport gas station, which are among the most expensive, and, CA is among the most expensive per gallon states.

I paid $3.99 in the broader DC area, so there is that.

Gas prices are dropping - period.

Also Biden and D's are trying to pass a $52 billion law (USICA) that would invest in US science/tech to boost US industry, support research and fund semiconductor manufacture in the US (and not require us to rely on China). McConnell has pledged to kill it unless D's back off on a budget package that would fund Medicare by taxing those who rake in over $400K / year. The measure McConnell demands withdrawn would also allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices at lower costs.
