Women shouldn’t be drafted because it already sucks to be a woman. This is like the only benefit. Obviously women CAN enlist. Really? It sucks to naturally get three to four years of extra life? That seems to be the ultimate benefit of all.

Female here. Mom of daughters. Yes, girls should also sign up for selective service. I think the military would be way better off with more women. I also wish we had a program where kids could do a year or two of military or humanitarian work through the military between night school and college (and earn grants for education).

The young men who have to fight in wars are rarely the ones starting them.

Maybe more girls will start playing Call of Duty

When there are adequate protections against sexual harassment and assault I. There military, I may support this. Until then, no. (And fwiw, I do t support a draft at all. Even for a son).

Geez you make it sound like the military is a prison for women!
