Agree that is why Shane is upset in the airport scene. Rachel left him and is flying home, or somewhere else, on her own. He's not that upset by the dead body itself. He gets mad when the couple start asking about his wife.

Unless . . . is the dead body his mother??

I dont think the death will be a main, liked character. Think it'll be the coughing bald guy, dying but killed by accident. Maybe something silly like he is rescuing the mother's ashes after they were thrown in water. He drowns when dive boat with father & son scuba diving hits him. Or something with the young white male employee.

I think it's going to be the brother. He's the only one on a positive trajectory in this dark series and is a better explanation for Olivia's crying at this point since she (Olivia) probably knows that Paula is responsible for the robbery. The brother dying aligns with the dark and ominous mood of the entire series. Paula gets arrested.


How is this a spoiler? You don't have any more knowledge of the show than the rest of us, apparently. All surmise and conjecture.

You’re right, I’d forgotten. Presuming she’s right I’d guess someone is accidentally killed at the drug-fueled party. Manager either culprit or victim.

No, I think you are right- a terminal illness. In scenes for next week he is coughing as well.
