It’s super disappointing, especially considering how strong Elrich and Gayles have been up till now, bucking Hogan on many things and staying cautious. Worries about re-election maybe?

It’s not that they want to keep wearing masks but everyone is confused as to what stores are still Maths up. For example, Safeway, are they still requiring masks?
Helpful hint: see if there's a sign on the door, when you go in.
Not true. Some of the retailers haven’t bothered to take signs down even though their policy has changed
Then if it really bothers you, you can put your mask on, go inside, and ask to speak to a manager to ask about the mask policy.
Or you could just wear it for the time being until it becomes more clear. That’s what must seem to be doing, I simply don’t care enough about dropping my bask in a store enough to seek out a manager. But more power to you if you have the time and energy to do that.

Immunocompromised and people who are unable to get vaccinated should stay home. They should have always stayed home. As for poor/immigrant adults who have been working in person, those persons were the first to be offered vaccines many months ago. For the vast majority of people, side effects last .5-1 day at most.
We have all already wasted over an entire year of our lives - you're really mad that people want to have a normal life again? And that people value their quality of life (which you are in no position to determine for another human being). Anyone who can't or isn't able to get vaccinated at this point, can and should stay home. You should never put your health in the hands of other people and expect others to care more about your health than you.

I agree with this, and have to make a point to ask store managers. Most people don't have time or don't want to bother with that. CVS now has a sign up that says masks are "recommended." Target hasn't taken down masking signs in at least two stores, but both managers told me I didn't have to wear it.
I wish they'd start putting out pro-drop the damn mask signs!

All restrictions aren’t dropped until the 28th. Until then you should wear a mask indoors if not fully vaccinated. I received my second shot this week. Thousands of people are receiving first and second doses every day. They could cheat but most people in MoCo are following the rules.

I'm fully vaccinated.
What rational, scientific reason is there for me to keep wearing a mask?
What rational, scientific reason is there for pitching fits about how you refuse to ever wear a mask ever again?
DP..ask Fauci and Gayle why it's fine to unmask. They are the experts, remember?
That answers a different question. Fauci and Gayle did not say that it's fine to have tantrums if people nonetheless ask you to wear a mask.
