Yes. And something coming from the prowler situation. I like the idea that Mare's son is actually the baby's father.
I think the purpose of the documentary is to have a dynamic way for the viewers to learn about the son.
Also if her son were the father, wouldn’t Frank’s DNA results have pointed to this?
Good point on Frank’s DNA.
On the Siobhan documentary, yes it’s a nice narrative device.
But the show made a point of dropping a clue/red herring: “he wasn’t getting along with Carrie then. Was he alone?” Also dropped the fact that he disappeared a month before he died.
The other open thread that sticks with me is Guy Pierce’s son. Where is he? The show said they have a good relationship now. Implying they are still in touch. So unlikely the son could be anyone we know. Maybe it’s Dylan, whose parents adopted him? His mom and dad seem really really into the baby— maybe they didn’t have that experience with Dylan?

Even if they didn't do it, would love to see him and his skanky gf go up in flames. But none of this really jibes.
I could see him trying to destroy paternity evidence. I think Mare will test the bottle (or something else) and discover the cousin is related to the baby but not the father. Still think it’s John.
They’ve never said who found Dylan, and the cousins were the only ones out there looking for Kenny. Had to be one of them and they probably saved him because they knew he was innocent.
Of course DNA evidence would say they are related. He is Erin’s cousin (as well as the baby’s cousin) regardless of whether he’s also the baby’s father.
She doesn't need the bottle to test his DNA - they can just ask for his DNA. People you're over-thinking the frickin bottle!
