The school has changed vastly for what the previous posters have claimed. Weve been here since 2020 and all of leadership and changed since then. And I actually wasnt aware that we had famous people here? LOL They must be D list celebs then. The school is great. See for yourself

I'm reading this and know for fact this is not true. My daugther has ADHD and can't sit still to save anyones life and is doing excellent at school. What I have found that most parents who get their kids services or intervention and think the owness is on the school.

not Sheridan if you want your child to get the best support they can get. They don't have staff for extra help.

Feynman maybe? Or home school (I’m serious) you could do it better than those schools for 40k a year. I’m serious about none of these schools based on experience with two if them for a NT highly gifted child. Twice exceptional and Austin’s is a whole different thing and will not work well.

The only private I have seen in the area that does well with kids with special physical needs and is not a special needs school is Sandy Spring Friends School. They do not provide therapy but the teachers will consult with and work with your therapists. Three out of 16 kids in my kid’s class have mild physical disabilities and they have been fully and easily included.

I had success with my son at NPS. Son went into K very immature and in OT. This was years ago. As a matter of fact, he had mild auditory processing too and in speech therapy. Fast forward to now, he’s at St. Albans. Their specialist worked with him and in conjunction with outside therapist. I highly recommend.
