The resolution that will be considered at the ANC3D meeting is up here:

It makes a lot of concessions to the NIMBYs, but yet they are still irate. Here is their call to action ahead of the meeting:
"The ANC representing Foxhall/Palisades (3D) has drafted a letter (attached) they will send to the mayor endorsing building a school at the Hardy Park site. While the letter does request that the mayor try to preserve as much park as possible, it omits the strong community opposition that has dominated every public meeting on the topic, and it assumes the city can build a very large school on a very small footprint, which defies logic.
The ANC will submit this letter as if they are representing the full community, which they are not. The letter says: "We are sending this letter to convey our support for additional public school infrastructure at these sites [GDS and Hardy]."
ANC 3D needs to hear loud opposition to this message on Wednesday evening, June 2nd. The agenda anticipates this issue will arise at 8pm. Login information is below:

DCPS's own draft drawings of potential school buildings (attached) already encroach on the soccer field (one of few in the city). A schematic with a 65,200 square foot school (Stoddert Elementary) superimposed on Hardy park is also attached.
Community residents asked the ANC to include language in the letter requesting that an architect with school expertise determine whether a 75,000 square foot school can be built without encroaching on the park. The ANC was unwilling to comply. Common sense says building a school that large without compromising the park is impossible.
Please come to this critical ANC meeting on Wednesday, June 2 (approximately 8pm, but please log in early) to register your opinion and let the ANC know this letter does not represent their constituents' opinions."
Suffice to say, please join the ANC meeting tomorrow lest it gets monopolized by these people. If you can't come, you can send feedback on the resolution here:
