Laid out that way, the whole thing looks even more sordid and criminal than it did at first blush (and I’m not a Republican, so trafficking children is solidly criminal in my mind).

It did. But you can see, the result is that it pushed his brow line down almost on top of his eyes. And it gives the fun-house mirror look to his forehead. And it also unfortunately, accentuates the bags under his eyes as another side effect. I can't say that it was a good choice. Looks like it just moves the age lines to different parts of his face and the forehead is not a good look. I think he looked better with the forehead crease than the Frankenforehead.
