WB? IMF? Dude, the benefits and benefits....

You’re a phd and can’t figure out the gross?

I’m not that familiar with US tax, all the deductions etc. So I’d be interested in knowing how experienced people think of the gross.

lol no wonder you work for government - too inept as an economist to even look up effective tax rates or realize that we can't figure out your deductions without knowing literally anything else about your life

NP. God you’re awful.

Maybe a non American who is not sure of US tax rates that changed a lot under the previous administration.

A married couple whose total income minus deductions is $250,000, for instance, would have had a tax rate of up to 33% in 2017. For 2018, 2019 and beyond, their highest tax rate is just 24%.Mar 18, 2021 Trump Tax Brackets: Did My Tax Rate Change? - SmartAssethttps://smartasset.com › taxes

34, Federal analyst, $130k.
BA in International Relations and MPA in Policy.
I did non-profit work for a few months but the pay was so low I couldn't afford to pay my student loans so I looked at other options. There was a special federal hiring authority for new grads and I applied to jobs through that program at agencies that do social service like work. After a few months of applying, I landed a federal job and have gotten a couple of promotions since then.

39, Govt IT program manager, 130k. BS in engineering.

I don't have a lot of income growth potential in my current job, but it's a good place to be - amazing work-life balance, lots of autonomy, good benefits, etc.
