She is a great person. Theres no argument. Until you know her as a person do not demoralize her coaches have to do things sometimes but it doesn’t always reflect the type of person they are.

Kathy Jenkins is a fair coach and brutally honest. If your kid doesn't play it's probably because they don't deserve to as well as you being an absolute psycho by coming on this website anonymously after your daughters are not even currently playing for her. You are an internet troll and as a parent and adult, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. Go back to high school.

There are other ways to describe someone who is supposedly "brutally honest" with teenaged girls. I have heard and seen enough from people who have been through that program, some with good experiences and some with bad, to know the toxicity that exists . And while I believe blame also lies with the parents who don't want to rock the boat so their kids can still wear the Saints uniform and play for her, the way she treats these girls is no less horrible. It reminds me of Bobby Knight - parents knew how horrible he was to his players at time, but hey they win and it's Indiana basketball.

Yeah, I know people who play for her too, she wants the best for kids, hearing the truth can be hard. She gets these kids places and she wants to push these kids to get better and trust me it is 100 times worse at the next level so if you can't handle a little adversity then there is no way you can survive playing in college. Being honest is not being terrible. Sometimes the best coaches are the toughest and you look back on life and realize it helps you deal with adversity. Kids need to grow up at some point or another, mommy and daddy won't always be there, and if you can't deal with a little yelling and truth then how will you move forward in life.

Imagine being so arrogant win or lose that you have the audacity to come onto this jank ass DC Urban Mom website to post about CHILDREN and COACHES. I will find out who you people are and you and your children will be reported to your schools. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.

WHAT GREAT PLAYERS AND COACHING ON BOTH SIDES!!

Not affiliated with either team, but is this supposed to be a feel good post for SS. I get trying to find a glimmer of hope in what was surely a disappointing weekend, but pointing out the team waited until the last half of two games to figure out a strategy isn't encouraging. It seems a little late. If a team has the depth push the pace from the first whistle. And while suggesting Visi go to their bench more is reasonable the coach worked with what she has and the players dug deep to pull the games out. Again, an impartial viewpoint, but it seems like one side hade a much better game strategy.

Not even close to both sides. One side possessing the ball for 10 minutes before Staints could get it back? Even then they don’t use the right players to actually get the ball back. Not even close to accurate. One team on the field wanted it. One team didn’t and one team was definitely, positively out coached and the team that was out coached was the Staints.
