Kathy Jenkins is a fair coach and brutally honest. If your kid doesn't play it's probably because they don't deserve to as well as you being an absolute psycho by coming on this website anonymously after your daughters are not even currently playing for her. You are an internet troll and as a parent and adult, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. Go back to high school.
There are other ways to describe someone who is supposedly "brutally honest" with teenaged girls. I have heard and seen enough from people who have been through that program, some with good experiences and some with bad, to know the toxicity that exists . And while I believe blame also lies with the parents who don't want to rock the boat so their kids can still wear the Saints uniform and play for her, the way she treats these girls is no less horrible. It reminds me of Bobby Knight - parents knew how horrible he was to his players at time, but hey they win and it's Indiana basketball.
Yeah, I know people who play for her too, she wants the best for kids, hearing the truth can be hard. She gets these kids places and she wants to push these kids to get better and trust me it is 100 times worse at the next level so if you can't handle a little adversity then there is no way you can survive playing in college. Being honest is not being terrible. Sometimes the best coaches are the toughest and you look back on life and realize it helps you deal with adversity. Kids need to grow up at some point or another, mommy and daddy won't always be there, and if you can't deal with a little yelling and truth then how will you move forward in life.
