She’s not the “new owner.” She’s a member of the Rust-Brown family who have owned the property for 200+ years. Her mother - Betsey Brown - died last year. Libby and her siblings are on the Rockland Farm Land Trust, which in turn owns the property. The land trust allows the Rockland Farm LLC to run the property as a vacation rental, wedding venue, and agricultural activities. Libby is the GM of the LLC, but she grew up on the property.

The ferry transports 600 vehicles per day. It’s a vital conduit for rural populations on each side of the river who frequently cross for business purposes.

They can take Point of Rocks bridge.
