Are you actually trying to claim that postal service has not been impacted by these moves and that the timing is completely coincidental? Despite, Trump himself explicitly saying that he is trying to slow down the mail because he thinks mail in voting is bad for his re-election chances?
Are you really also saying that we should vote in person only? If so, why? It's one thing to say that in person voting can be done safely. It's quite another thing to say that we must vote in person regardless of safety. Unfortunately, that second point is what you are actually arguing. Sure, there are steps that can be taken to make in person voting as safe as going to the grocery store. Even that's not close to 100% safe but whatev. But what's happening is that some states want to minimize potential safety risks and the federal government is trying to sabotage that effort.
No, PP is saying that it's the height of stupidity to push for mail-in-voting 2.5 months out from a Presidential election. If Democrats wanted safe, secure mail-in voting, they should have taken it up as an issue back when they had the Presidency and Congress. They didn't. As such, you can't whine about it now. Well, you can whine, but the rest of us won't care.
PPP here, and yes - this is exactly what I'm saying. Also, if Democrats are so damn worried about the USPS not getting their ballots in on time, then why don't they send them in now? Why wait until the last minute? And if they're THAT scared, then just vote in person - the same way they go to the grocery store or hair salon right now. Or protests, for that matter.Such hypocrites.
Do *you* have your ballot now? It’s hard to complete a ballot that you haven’t got, and that’s part of the problem: the GOP has sabotaged the USPS to slow the ballots going both ways.
And if my state allows me to request my ballot and vote by mail, and it does, what business is it of yours how I vote? Why do you feel entitled to tell me that the state that I live in isn’t doing it right?
I'm sorry - WTH are you talking about? I don't give a rat's ass how you vote. But if you're going to continue to whine and moan about mail-in ballots, then either drop yours off in person or go vote in person. Stop your constant bit*ching.

You do realize that there is as least one Virginian who has requested a mail-in ballot, not received one, received delayed mail, and not stepped foot in a grocery store for months on end?
You do realize how many tradesmen are out of work right now?
Your argument is what exactly? Be specific.
It's pretty clear: Democrats enthusiastically supported mass protests in the middle of a pandemic. Yet now they're claiming it's "not safe" to go vote in person? And you actually expect to be taken seriously.
Absentee ballots will work as they always have. Stop the outrage.

Don't forget that they would rather the USPS prioritize their mail in ballot over grandma's medicine so that they don't have to get off the couch.

And a Democrat moves the goal posts... again. First it was, GOP is going to slow delivery of mailed ballots so they arrive late and don't count. Now it's the GOP is going to slow the delivery of blank ballots so they don't arrive, and can't be post marked by the deadline.
Look, mail-in voting isn't going to happen this election cycle for a variety of practical, objective reasons. Accept it. Don't try to use the lack of it as some sort of conspiracy theory to justify not accepting if Trump wins again.

And a Democrat moves the goal posts... again. First it was, GOP is going to slow delivery of mailed ballots so they arrive late and don't count. Now it's the GOP is going to slow the delivery of blank ballots so they don't arrive, and can't be post marked by the deadline.
Look, mail-in voting isn't going to happen this election cycle for a variety of practical, objective reasons. Accept it. Don't try to use the lack of it as some sort of conspiracy theory to justify not accepting if Trump wins again.
