Shark sighting off Cape Cod shore closes beach today (Sunday, July 5).
It was cloudy Sunday so not much of an issue.

Don't bother. Those of us who like the Cape are not like OP, thankfully. Does OP seem happy to you?
Do happy, mature, well adjusted people start threads like this one, and go on and on, as if their life depended on it? C'mon.
OP is a poor troll, and I am shocked that this tread has not been not locked or deleted.
Absurd.
I would normally leave threads like this well enough alone since I am not a beach person, have never been to Cape Cod, and really don't care about the shark population. But, since you have taken to repeatedly reporting posts from this thread, while also repeatedly calling other posters "trolls", I am going to weigh in. Let's look at the original post of this thread:
Based on my one trip there, I will say, that I found Cape Cod to be:
Way too expensive. (10K for a small house in Chatham)
Beautiful.
Water too cold to swim in.
Snooty. My snootiest Aunt goes every year. Preppy heaven.
Too far from DC for me to visit regularly.
What do you think about Cape Cod?
What about this post has infuriated you so much that you have repeatedly asked for the thread to be removed? Is Cape Cod expensive? That is a subjective issue, but if OP thinks it is, what does it matter to you? Is it beautiful? I assume that you agree that it is. Is the water cold? That is also a matter of opinion and may actually be considered a benefit by some people. Is OP's Aunt snooty? Perhaps, but I agree that OP is wrong to stereotype the entire population based on a single person. Too far from DC? Another subjective factor but it does seem pretty far to me. So, this comes down to one item which which you likely you agree, three subjective matters of opinion, and one unfair generalization. If this is a troll post, it is one of the laziest efforts I've ever encountered.
Rather than taking screenshots (for what purpose I haven't a clue), claiming that you are being defamed (despite that nobody knows who you are), and obviously getting your blood pressure raised to unsafe levels, maybe you should just ignore this thread? Trust me, Cape Cod will survive a few DCUMers' concerns about the water temperature and number of sharks. Your defense is not required.
OP sounds like she has a problem. If she has a chip on her shoulder about (insert trolling item here) - maybe she should examine that, instead. People are defensive about where they are from, especially if they are from a beautiful place. For those not from a beautiful place, and maybe lacking other healthy outlets, why attack where others are from? Strikes me as sad. There are places all over that have (insert trolling item here) - but OP (who is obviously fixated on calling other people crazy) doesn't seem to want to hear about reality and perspective, just her fixated points.
LOTS of projection right there. Time for a little self-reflection.
-Not OP
OP's buddy: How would you feel if someone criticized podunk with insufficient information trying to pass as "facts"? And saying that (where you are from) is (insert OP's hyperbole here).

Look, Lady: there are dozens of posters here. The OP didn’t call you crazy...I did. I’m one of the multiple posters who isn’t the OP btw referencing the Crazy Cape Cod Lady (that’s you, BTW...you are the CCCL).
Why can’t you understand that CC isn’t everyone’s cup of tea? Different strokes for different folks.
Guess what? I can’t stand SF and I’ve always thought nyc was overrated. I think London and Chicago are much more fun, personally. Note I said personally; I fully understand that others prefer SF and NYC.
This thread is soliciting opinions about CC. It’s not a personal attack on you. It’s very weird that you feel compelled to convert everyone to CC lovers. Most people try to dissuade others from crowding their favorite vacation spot. I stand by my prior comment pondering if you are a hired hand to lobby for the local land-shark industry.
Lastly: does the fact that much of this thread is peppered with jokes escape you?
If you could point out what you call "jokes" I would appreciate it.
I am being more calm than anyone here (and I happen to have low blood pressure, Jeff - since you felt the need to mention it), yet the need to pile it on is puzzling. Especially since there are sharks in many areas - there are at least (3) articles upthread about North Carolina, in particular - and the different breeds of sharks the North Carolina area attracts, but OP and her buddies keep chiming in - like a playground game.
I think my sense of humor is "slightly" different than OP attacking with random information OP tries to sell as fact - and is now trying to sell as a "joke". Interesting. I don't think my being more sophisticated than OP (based on her posts) means I don't have a sense of humor. Maybe OP is just full of it, and simply not funny or accurate, which is fine.
