No, I'm at a different club.
Even weirder
You're likely too far away from where we're at to be aware, but for all the problems Loudoun has, several have many more. Don't get me wrong, plenty of clubs better than Loudoun.

Not many other clubs have threads on the refund topic. There are many clubs who gave refunds and therefore there is no thread about them.
Loudoun, being the largest club in VA should lead on this and not do “what is in line with other clubs”.
Disgraceful
Accurate analysis. I tried to empathize with their situation as a business and fixed costs - how wouldn't I? as a business owner I am suffering these forced house-arrest consequences in my own flesh. But, when I found out that they were spending over $600,000 in just 5 individuals (some of whom by the way are incompetent and unprofessional to say the least) I lost all respect for them. To add insult to injury not one of their staff has taken a pay cut AND they have received money from that PPP loan program.
Honestly, parents who will continue with Loudoun Soccer in the Fall and beyond (if there is any soccer anyways) can you please share the exact reasons? Besides the fact that you obviously have $$ to throw around.
Ha! Some offered waaaaay less for reimbursement.
First reason - my son wanted to stay with LS. Ultimately it was his choice since cost and location were about the same as alternative clubs. Second reason - his teammates are also returning. Third reason - we have been to other clubs and it's really picking what's most important to you. NO LS isn't the best player development club out there, but overall we have had good experiences with the coaches and teams we played with. It's also fairly well organized on the travel side of the house.
Do we agree with the refund hostage situation with our money? NO. Did other soccer clubs did the exact same things with their refund/credits? YES.

what does ED stand for?
Well Alexandria spends $300 k on just one person. At least LS hasn’t gone that far off the deep end.
Their former ED was at $200K. And they have another 5 making 6 figures.
1) i dont know what ED stands for
2) someone getting paid close or over 6 figures in a youth sports position is obnoxious. let alone 300k. that smells nasty and i hope someone probes their asses and puts an end to it. shameful and embarrassing to have clowns who think are hot shit make money like that when they probably dont have any marketable skills outside of a sport
